Standard Edition vs Ultimate Edition
- Standard Edition: the single-player Grand Theft Auto VI experience, plus eligible preorder benefits.
- Ultimate Edition: the base game plus an upgrade collection described by Rockstar as premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and story-linked action.
- Both eligible preorder editions include the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Eligible digital preorders include one month of GTA+, subject to redemption and auto-renewal terms.
Preload and physical-box details
Digital preload is scheduled to begin November 12, one week before launch. Rockstar Support says the physical box contains a download code rather than a game disc, and that version is also available from November 12 to support preloading.
Before paying
- Confirm the platform: PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.
- Compare the official edition contents instead of reseller summaries.
- Read the GTA+ renewal terms if claiming the included month.
- Use the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Store or a recognized retailer.
- Avoid supposed early-access keys, account transfers and unofficial download offers.
What a preorder does not confirm
A preorder listing does not confirm a PC version, Online launch date, final install size, performance mode or disc edition. Those claims need their own primary-source announcement.
