Privacy Policy

What we collect
We collect information you submit: newsletter and product-waitlist email addresses, contact messages, community tips, poll votes, and AI questions or feedback. Claim checks are private by default and are processed without saving a public result. Only if you explicitly opt in are verification claims and verdicts stored on public, unindexed share pages. Do not submit personal information. Public abuse controls store one-way address hashes rather than raw IP addresses. First-party page and performance measurements exclude known bots, owner-session requests and private dashboard routes; Do Not Track requests are respected.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to messages, manage requested alerts or interest lists, moderate contributions, improve answers, and protect the service. We do not sell personal data.
Security, cookies & analytics
Owner sessions use a secure cookie. Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Turnstile bot checks. We measure page paths, referring hostnames, and browser-reported performance metrics in our own Cloudflare database. We do not store raw IP addresses, advertising identifiers, full referrer URLs, or user agents for these measurements. Optional external analytics integrations run only when configured.
Retention
AI chat records are automatically removed after 30 days. Expired owner sessions and temporary rate-limit records are routinely deleted. Newsletter suppression records are retained so an unsubscribed address is not contacted again; you may request deletion of other submissions.
Your choices
New newsletter subscriptions use Brevo's hosted form and require your explicit consent and an email confirmation before joining the mailing list. Use the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails to stop delivery. Older website interest registrations remain separate and can still be removed using their private preference token. They are not automatically imported into Brevo. You can request access, correction, or deletion through the contact page.
Third parties
Cloudflare provides hosting, database, AI, security, and network services. Brevo provides the hosted newsletter form, confirmation emails, subscriber management and newsletter delivery. When you open its form, Brevo and Cloudflare Turnstile process the technical data needed to operate and protect signup. Brevo processes email addresses, consent and subscription status, and delivery and engagement events under its privacy terms. The form opens only when you choose to visit it; we do not embed its tracking scripts on this site.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
