Operator and contact

This section covers the gta6aiguide Devvit app operated by u/simplezooguy for r/Gta6guideai. Contact u/simplezooguy on Reddit for questions or requests about app data. Website and newsletter processing described elsewhere in this policy is separate.

Information processed

When an operator uses the controls, the app receives Reddit's request context, including the current user identifier and subreddit. It reads the current Reddit username and relevant moderator membership/permissions to authenticate the operator. It does not ask users to paste Reddit passwords or access tokens into forms.

The app processes public article titles, short summaries, URLs, publication dates and evidence classifications. The local RSS adapter retrieves GTA6GuideAI article metadata. The newly implemented, undeployed automated verifier retrieves the cited public Polygon page and checks agreement between its headline, canonical URL and publication markers. Its supported output is a short attributed headline report with the source publication date, not a verification of arbitrary RSS summaries or of the report's underlying claims. It records the source URL, actual retrieval time, headline, source publication date, evidence field names, content hash, method/version and supported result, bound to the exact proposed post's digest. Operators may also supply corrections, review notes and authorization references. Avoid entering personal information, credentials or confidential material into those fields.

App storage

Reddit-hosted Redis stores activation/control state, the operator username and audit times, review notes and the exact reviewed candidate snapshot plus its digest, and day/event reservations with resulting Reddit post identifiers when available. The new version also stores the automated evidence record described above when that path is enabled and succeeds. Full fetched source HTML is processed in memory and is not saved to Redis or logged by the verifier. These records enforce the publication cap, prevent duplicate attempts and allow investigation of uncertain sends. Source-report identity is derived from its URL; this deduplicates that report across discovery articles, not all independent reporting about the same underlying news. The operator workflow reads stored state to decide whether work must remain held.

External requests and publication

The currently installed v0.0.2 has outbound HTTP, scheduling and posting disabled. After separately approved access and deployment, the proposed integration would send HTTPS GET requests to gta6guideai.com for /feed.xml and matching /news/ pages, and to www.polygon.com for individually cited article pages. These are the only two proposed hosts. Requests omit credentials, refuse redirects, and do not add Reddit identities, tokens, review notes or post data. The receiving hosts necessarily receive ordinary technical request information from Reddit's infrastructure, including the requested article path. Fetches have time and size limits. Access denials stop further source attempts in that run; they are not bypassed.

The source-checking workflow may run automatically without per-post human approval. It retrieves source evidence anew on each discovery run and expires an automated review for sending after five minutes. This expiry prevents use of stale approval; it does not delete the stored record. A saved review or a feed label is not treated as a new source read. No external AI service or verification backend is used. Any further source host, backend or AI service would require its own defined scope, access approval and accurate disclosure before use. This section does not grant access or activate any functionality.

After separate posting activation, qualifying attributed headline reports, source and GTA6GuideAI article links, and app-account attribution would be published automatically as public Reddit posts, without requiring a human to approve each one. Public posts are subject to Reddit's own retention and access controls. Revoking an internal review or uninstalling the app does not by itself remove an existing public Reddit post.

Retention

The current implementation has no automatic expiry for its day/event reservations, audit records or review snapshots. They remain in app storage unless removed through an authorized maintenance or platform process. They are not automatically deleted after seven days. Retaining event reservations prevents later duplicate posting. An operator may need to pause the workflow before handling a correction or deletion request safely. This policy does not promise that uninstalling deletes all stored app data; that behavior must be confirmed with Reddit.

Requests and third parties

You may ask u/simplezooguy for access, correction or deletion of information associated with your use of the app. The operator should assess and handle requests under applicable requirements and explain any remaining retention obligation. Reddit supplies Devvit hosting, identity/API access and app storage and applies its own privacy terms. When access is enabled, GTA6GuideAI's and Polygon's hosting infrastructure process requests to their public pages. Links opened by readers are subject to the linked sites' own policies. No external AI provider, advertising tracker, payments service or data-sale functionality is called by this app's current code.

Security and changes

Controls authenticate the configured operator using trusted Reddit context and moderator permissions; unverified or incomplete publication candidates stay held. These safeguards reduce risk but are not a guarantee of error-free operation. Material changes to app data use, retention or external access should be reflected here before enabling the corresponding functionality. This app-specific section supplements the existing website policy.
