  1. Reported — platform store listings

    Preload opens

Midnight local time · digital pre-orders

Digital pre-orders can begin downloading before release. Preloading installs the game; it does not grant early access.

Physical code-in-box copies can preload once the code is activated.

Rockstar support also specifies November 12 at local midnight. Code redemption, account region and your purchased edition determine availability; a redeemed code does not enable downloads before the preload window.

Midnight local time · countdown target, not a universal unlock guarantee

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Have the game downloaded and check your store’s unlock information before you plan to play.

The confirmed label applies to the date and platforms. The US PlayStation listing shows November 19 at 05:00 UTC; that does not confirm midnight access in every region or on every platform. Check your purchased edition’s store listing.
