GTA 6 Will Hit PC Just a Few Months After Consoles, According to a New Report

What happened

IGN reports that according to a new report by GamesBeat, which cites four anonymous sources, Rockstar plans to release GTA 6 on PC during the first quarter of 2027, just a few months after its launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on November 19, 2026.

Why it matters for GTA 6 players

This potential release timeline for the PC version of GTA 6 is notable because some fans had anticipated a longer wait, given the nearly two-year gap between the console and PC releases of GTA 5. The possible early release of GTA 6 on PC could also be tied to the launch of the game's multiplayer mode.

What remains unclear

The authenticity of the report and the specifics of the PC version's performance, including frames-per-second and resolution, as well as any official details about GTA 6's multiplayer mode.
