Is GTA 6 Online confirmed?
Rockstar's June 2026 preorder announcement calls Grand Theft Auto VI a single-player experience, and PlayStation's official FAQ gives the same answer when asked about multiplayer. No separate GTA 6 Online release date is published.
What remains unknown
- Whether multiplayer launches with the single-player game or later.
- The name, economy, businesses, properties and progression structure.
- Crossplay and cross-progression support.
- Player count, subscription requirements and supported activities.
GTA+ is not confirmation of GTA 6 Online
Eligible digital preorders include a month of GTA+, but the official announcement says it can be used for the existing, evolving GTA Online and its game library. That benefit does not establish GTA 6 multiplayer features or timing.
What to ignore before an announcement
- Exact launch businesses and property prices.
- Supposed fastest money methods or hourly payouts.
- Claims about crossplay based only on other games.
- Real-money offers for accounts, currency, vehicles or properties.
