IGN reports that Kinda Funny's Andy Cortez and Greg Miller asked Rockstar about in-game purchases and generative AI during a GTA 6 preview. Their account says the launch game will not include microtransactions or generative AI. That is a reported answer about this release, not a statement that all Rockstar development tools or future products exclude AI.
What remains unclear
Paid editions remain a separate issue. IGN describes the $99.99 Ultimate Edition alongside the $79.99 Standard Edition, with extra content and a separately purchasable upgrade referenced by a support page. No microtransactions at launch therefore does not mean every edition contains identical material. Nor does the report settle the business model of any future GTA 6 multiplayer offering. Treat those as separate questions until Rockstar describes them directly.
