PC Gamer, citing Kotaku, reported that Take-Two sought records from Microsoft and Discord in connection with alleged GTA 6 leaks. Its article described requests for account-identifying information and an early-September response date. The report is about efforts to identify alleged infringers, not an announcement that investigators had already identified or arrested someone.
What remains unclear
A later Insider Gaming report quoted Discord saying it had not yet been served at that time. Filing, service, a response and a court finding are different events.
